SAVANNAH, Ga. (AP) - Kurvin Curry threw for 217 yards and accounted for four touchdowns to lead Savannah State in a win against Livingstone 45-10.
The Tigers (1-1) outgained the Blue Bears (0-2) 485-170 in the contest, claiming a 42-0 lead at halftime. Curry ran for 109 yards on 15 carries. He also completed 10-of-23 passes and threw one interception for Savannah State.
Scoring opened with a 33-yard touchdown run by Curry in a first period that also included a blocked punt returned for a score by Savannah State. Curry added another 10-yard run in the second quarter before hooking up on touchdown passes of 79 and 21 yards with Tigers receiver Justin Babb.
Babb finished the game with three catches for 114 yards and 71 yards rushing. |
